‘File Not Found’ – Art by youth in care, telling the stories a file never could is a national art exhibition and competition open to young people aged 12–26 who are care experienced.
Taking place at the iconic Oxo Tower Wharf Gallery on London’s Southbank from 28 October – 1 November 2026, this exhibition aims to challenge the way young people in care can often feel defined by case notes, reports, and statistics - and instead celebrate identity, creativity, and self-expression.
What can young people submit?
All forms of art are welcome, including:
Painting
Photography
Illustration
Digital Art
Mixed media
Sculpture
Other Visual Forms
Performing Arts (limited spots, but can also be pre-recorded)

Submissions are open - we encourage youth to submit their interest and idea now, even before completing the artwork.
Deadline: 13th September 2026 – End of day. This is when the artwork needs to be submitted.
